The measure has been on an upward trend since reaching a series low of 0 percent in April and is now at its highest level since July 2018. The median inflation expectation rose at the three-year horizon, while remaining unchanged at the one-year horizon. Uncertainty about future inflation increased slightly, remaining elevated in comparison with the pre-COVID-19 period.
